Thinkeco Power Systems Corporation
ThinkEco Power Inc (ThinkEco) is a Vancouver-based IoT company incorporated in 2008. The company is moving the needle in the IoT space and finished within the top position at the IoT for Cities competition organised by the City of San Francisco and sponsored by GE Lighting. Thinkeco originally started off in 2008 as a smartgrid company and their appliance detection techniques were traditionally used for home energy audits. They have since then re-engineered this technology, known as Reality Mining, to also non-invasively detect elderly falls, predict reckless and dangerous driving behaviour and provide early warning for major diseases. Thinkeco believes that we have already entered an age where computers can not only assist humans in preventing accidents, but they are fundamentally better at helping city administrators and insurance firms predict and circumvent perilous situations than humans

ThinkEco is very excited to join the ng Connect program. We are a leading player in the Advanced Smart Grid 2.0 space and have unique strengths in combining machine-to-machine (M2M), predictive analytics, home energy management systems (HEMS) and home automation systems (HAN), and embedding this into an existing set top box or electrical meter as a “fourth play” for telecom players. In parallel, we offer sophisticated knowhow and software algorithms that can offer utilities a comprehensive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), grid automation and predictive analytics suite of products and services.
